POTTERSVILLE - Adaline W. Agard, 98, passed away Tuesday morning, August 28, 2007, at the Adirondack Tri-County Nursing Home in North Creek. Adaline was born April 11, 1909, in Riparius, N.Y., the daughter of Oley and Hepsie Smith VanDerwaker. Adaline spent her whole life in the Pottersville area. She enjoyed needle point, seek and find books, playing solitaire, her family and attending Christ Episcopal Church in Pottersville where she was a member for many years. Adaline was predeceased by her husband, Dewey, June 6, 1979, her son Marvin, March 11, 1990, her grandson Billy Andrews, her sisters, Varian, Verna, Elsie, Helen, Laura, and Edna, and her brothers, John, Joe, Richard, Kenneth, Leslie, and Robert. Survivors include her sons, Duane (Golda) Agard of Pottersville, and Richard (Janet) Agard of Chestertown, and her daughter, Margaret Andrews of Pottersvile. Interment took place in the Pottersville Cemetery.
