GLEASON - Kathy Ann Bates, 42, bank teller at Bank of Gleason, died Tuesday of cancer at her home. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Gleason First Baptist Church, where she was a member, with burial in Hopewell Cemetery here. Gallimore Funeral Home has charge. Mrs. Bates, the wife of Ronnie Bates, also leaves two daughters, Melanie Bates and Stephanie Bates, and her father and stepmother, Clarence and Blanche Bullock, all of Gleason. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Gleason First Baptist Church.
