Mollie Sue Choat (nee Carden) age 99, late of Hegewisch, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2016, at ManorCare Health Services in Palos Heights, IL. Sue was born on June 12, 1917 in Englewood, TN to Joney and Edna (Yoder) Carden. Proud grandmother to Lori Adler, Cherie Michaels, Robert (Tracie) Michaels, and Thomas Miller who was like a grandson to her. Great grandmother to Samantha Adler, Amanda and Christopher Markovic, and Lea and Brooke Michaels. Great great grandmother to James London. She is also survived by her brother Charles Miller and niece Carla (Cliff) McCartney. Preceded in death by her husband Charles E. Choat; and children: Barbara Jean Choat, Marlene (Frank) Kokoszynski, Julia (Robert) Michaels and grandson Scott Michaels. As well as sister, Mary Ruth Bray. She was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Hammond, IN. Sue was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, and a true friend to all that were blessed to be a part of her life. She will be deeply missed by all. She will be laid to rest next to her loving husband, Charles at Good Springs Cemetery in Etowah, TN.
