Ruby Mae Heath Daywood was born outside of Weatherford, Texas on December 17, 1920 and went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 11, 2012. She was one of five children born to Arthur and Myrtle Heath. She is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Anthony "Tony" Daywood.

She is survived by her twin sister, Ruth Huff of Easley, South Carolina, her son, Anthony C. Daywood and his wife, Vivian, and their children, Alexandra Daywood, Anthony Daywood, and Andrea Daywood Jacob and her husband Arthur Si; her son, John Carl Daywood and his wife, Barbara and their children Vanessa F. Wile and her husband, Dean, and Jennie Earley and her husband, Jason. Ruby is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Ruby was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend who took great joy in spending time with her grandchildren. Her hard work in her garden and home provided much satisfaction to her and her family. She easily shared her smiles, gentle hugs, and quiet "thank you's." The family would like to thank Arletha Williams and her family for their care, the staff of ResCare, and the staff at the Clare Bridge ALZ unit. The care and attention of everyone at North Austin Medical Center was deeply appreciated.

The Rosary will be recited at seven o'clock in the evening.
