Leslie Ruth Martin, 45 of Norman, OK, passed away on August 1, 2016. Leslie was born on June 16, 1971 in Lawton, OK to Larry Paul Harris and Ruth Mary Harris.
Leslie was a member of First Methodist Church of Moore and a proud member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. She loved her pets Lucy and Daisy and fishing. Her first love was her family, especially her children.
Leslie is survived by her husband, Chris Martin; 4 children, Britney Martin, Leigha Maddy, Chase Maddy, and Rachel Maddy; father, Larry Harris; 2 brothers, Larry R. Harris and wife Patti and Loren Harris and wife Teresa; 7 nephews and nieces, Larry Jr., Stephanie, Lindsey, Nick, Derek, Zack and Jay. She is preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Mary Harris; her grandparents and her beloved Aunt Sissy.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, August 5, 2016, at First Methodist Church of Moore, 201 W. Main St., Moore, OK. Interment will follow to Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Norman, OK. Services are under the direction of John M. Ireland Funeral Home and Chapel, Moore, OK.
