BALL, BERTHA ALICE "BIRDIE," 76, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, November 27, 2005. She was the former Bertha Alice Black, a native of McCreary County, Kentucky. She was a watress at the old Hasenour's restaurant and clerk at Rite Aid. She is survived by her daughter, Vickie Y. Way (Marty); and a grandson, Kyle Way (Kellen); sisters, Hazel Black, Kitty Greissel, Betty Sinnott and Ruth Sleeth; and a brother, Stanley Black. Funeral service will be at noon Thursday, December 1, 2005, at Arch L. Heady & Son, 1201 East Oak Street, with entombment at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from noon - 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Hospice of Louisville.
