Funeral Tuesday for Esther V. Wyatt
The funeral for Esther V. Wyatt will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Rochester, with the Rev. Casey Higgins and Mr. Arnold Swanson officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Wyatt, 88, of Town Hall Estates, Rochester, a homemaker, died Thursday, April 18, 1996, at St. Marys Hospital.
Esther Leaming was born May 15, 1907, at Perry, Iowa. She grew up and attended school in the Des Moines, Iowa, area. She married Frank D. Wyatt on July 27, 1927, in Wabasha. They lived in Rochester until 1934 when they moved to Sandy Point. They moved to the family farm north of Zumbro Falls in 1943, and then to Rochester in 1956. Mr. Wyatt died April 1, 1979. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Survivors include a son, David of Lake Barrington, Ill.; two grandsons; two brothers, C.M. Leaming of Des Moines and Mac Leaming of Webster, Iowa; and a sister, Mrs. Rachael Sulser of Des Moines.
She was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Vine Funeral Home. There will be no reviewal. Memorials are preferred to Town Hall Estates or Seventh Day Adventist Church.
