Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of Peter and Thelma L. (Aldrich) O'Hara of North Smithfield.
Mr. O'Hara was employed as a health aide at Lifetime Medical Co., Pawtucket, for the last five years. He was previously employed in the security section for the Rhode Island Air National Guard. He attended CCRI and Davies Vocational School.
Besides his parents he leaves his maternal grandmother, Marion Aldrich of North Smithfield; three brothers, Brian, Kurt O'Hara, both of San Diego, Calif., and Timothy O'Hara of North Smithfield, and three sisters, Marla Carchia, Kathleen Monfette, both of North Smithfield, and Karen Mollaei of San Antonio, Texas.
A graveside funeral will be held Wednesday at a time to be announced at St. Theresa Cemetery, Nasonville.
