Graveside Funeral service and Interment for Billie Vest Self, 87, will be Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at 4:00 PM at Cedar Creek Cemetery with Bro. Michael Gunter officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 3, 2016 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the funeral home.
Ms. Self died on Sunday, July 31, 2016 at her residence. She was born April 1, 1929, in Morgan County to Leslie Fred Vest and Annie Mae (Free) Vest.
Billie was a graduate of Morgan County High School and Anderson Business College. She retired from Alabama Farmer's Cooperative after almost 30 years as an Accountant.
Billie was a lifelong member of The Church of God (Anderson, Indiana) serving in many different offices and positions. Billie loved the Lord and her family dearly. She was a master seamstress, loved crocheting and enjoyed many other types of needlework. Billie was a fabulous cook and was an avid Alabama Football Fan.
