Parental links for Orren adjusted to William and Mary Bridges. Originally linked to William's parents Drewry Bridges (1865-1940) and Charity Bridges (1871-1852). Orren (age 29) shown in 1850 census in household of Mary Bridges so I accepted change of parents provided by Sylvia Schiffmayer, 1 Jun 2023
In trying to source parental changes I found three different dates for Orrin and Elizabeth's marriage. 1st 27 May 1848 in Trigg Co Ky but no source listed; 2nd 17 May 1852 recorded in Ky, US County Records,Trigg Co (from Wm Thomas'returns) shows Orren D as 30 and Elizabeth Hixon age 19, married 17 May but the original record in Trigg County marriage book filled out by Wm Thomas in his hand writing, as performing marriage, has date as 27 May, 1852 ; the third just showed married 1888 and no source but I did find on a 1900 census that stated years married as 12 that would agree with the 1888 date. Not sure if they married, seperated or divorced and remarried. Since I could not find any other court records I will leave marriage date of 27 May 1852, as provided by member Jean.
