Mrs. Josephine Roshon, 82, 106 S. Howard St., Sabina, died today at 8:15 a.m. in Clinton Memorial Hospital. She had been in failing health several months. Her husband, Dr. E. L. Roshon, to whom she was married June 27, 1926, died July 10, 1974.
Mrs. Roshon was born June 24, 1893 in Sabina, a daughter of H. C. and Josephine Haynes Curtis. A life-long resident of Sabina, she was a member of the Sabina United Methodist Church, its King's Daughter Class and the WSCS.
Surviving are two grandchildren, Neil Strong of Franklin, and Mrs. Mary Jo (Gene) Viola, Stubenville; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Miss Estelle Curtis of Sabina; a brother, Albert E. Curtis of Sabina; and a sister-in-law, Edith Curtis of Xenia.
Two stepchildren, Mrs. Margaret (Robert) Strong and Harold Roshon, two brothers, Howard and Emerson Curtis, and two sisters, Gertrude and Virginia Curtis, are deceased.
Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Littleton funeral home, Sabina, with Rev. Lester Watts officiating. Burial will be in Sabina Cemetery. Calling hours will be at the funeral home from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
