Marion "Jim" James Blount, 74, of Farmington, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2006, in Farmington. He was born December 7, 1931, in Canton, Ohio, to Minor and Lucy Blount.
Jim was preceded in death by both his parents; his wife and a brother, Carl.
He is survived by sons, Michael (Marietta) Blount of Farmington, Randy (Doris) Stevens of Jonesboro, Ark., and Ronnie (Lisa) Blount of Jonesboro, Ark. He is also survived by a sister, Violet Mandrell of Jonesboro, Ark., and eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Services for Jim will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 24, 2006, at Brewer, Lee & Larkin Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Kirtland Cemetery.
