Fred Joseph Meiser
The second death from pneumonia within the week was reported today. Fred Joseph Meiser, janitor at the Columbia school for the past fifteen years died at 7:30 o'clock this morning at the St. Joseph's hospital following a short illnes.
The deceased was born in Germany May 18, 1848 and came to this country in the year 1881. For twenty years he was employed in Capentersville and for the last fifteen years he had been a janitor at the public school.
He is survived by his widow and one daughter, Mrs. Albert Gillian of Chicago and two grandchildren. The funeral will be held at 9 o'clock at the St. Joseph's church. Burial at Bluff City.
