LaVella (Minor) Hollon 89, of Sullivan and formerly of
Petersburg,died Friday at Golden Living Center in Bloonington. LaVella was born in Winslow on Feb. 1,1927,the
daughter of William and Leona Minor.She worked in an
ammunition factory in Petersburg durning World War II and
at Village Nursing Home.
She is preceded in death by her husband,Robert Stuckey Hollon;a daughter,Sondra Lee Hollon;a son, Jimmy Wayne Hollon;her twin sister,LaVerne (Minor)Cain;brothers Jake Minor,Billy Monor and Moses Minor;and a sister,Marie (Minor)

LaVella is survived by two sons,Michael (Gail)Hollonof Meadowview,Virginia, and Timothy Hollon of Haysville, Kansas;one daughter,Vickie Hollon of Sullivan;10 grandchildren,Amy Perkins,Stacy (Rob)Wood,Brooke (Grant)
