Mrs. Barbara Carter of Cartersville passed away November 21, 2006. She was preceded in death by her son, Alan Carter, Sr. and is survived by her husband, Alvin Lester Carter, Cartersville; daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Michael Dooley, Emerson, GA; sisters, Joyce Tolleson, Tampa, FL; Irene Merck, Dallas, TX; brother, Ed Hope, Stockbridge; 5 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and 1 great, great granddaughter. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 24, 2006 at 1 o'clock at the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home. Rev. J.E. Jarrard officiating. Interment Holly Hill Memorial Park. Those wishing may send an online condolence at www.parrottfuneralhome.com. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Parrott Funeral Home, Fairburn. 770-964-4800.
