ETHEL M. BLANTON - Ravenna - Funeral for Ethel Marie Blanton of Ravenna, who died July 3, 1992, at Wilson N. Jones Hospital in Sherman, will be at 4 p.m. today at Cooper Sorrells Chapel. Rev. Doug Simpson and Rev. James Rodgers will officiate and burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery at Ravenna. Mrs. Blanton was born May 30, 1916, a daughter of James Wylie Woodruff and Mable Dobson. She married Roscoe J. Blanton on Nov. 25, 1933, at Bonham. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Ravenna
Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband of Ravenna; one daughter, Nita Marie Brandenberger of Dallas; one brother, James Marvin Woodruff of Dallas; two sisters Pansy Walker of Ravenna and Velma Calhoun of Sherman; two granddaughters and five great-grandchildren.
