Phyllis Mae Hennen was born Feb. 8, 1952, in Breckenridge MN, to Herman and Alma (McLaughin) Muehler. DShe was baptized March 8, 1952, at First English Lutheran Church, Fairmount, ND. She spent her early years on the family farm in Fairmount. Phyllis was confirmed May 21, 1967, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Wahpeton, ND. The family move to Breckenridge in 1967, and Phyllis Graduated from High School in 1970. She Married Gary Banyai Dec. 28, 1970, at Wahpeton, and they lived in Dickenson, ND, and Wahpeton. Phyllis married William Hennen July 15, 1987, in Moorhead, MN. She died Sunday June 14, 1998, at her home in Moorhead, at the age of 46. Phyllis enjoyed life by square dancing, crafting, biking, rollerblading with her dog, Sam, and spending time with her family. DShe is survived by her husband William, Moorehead; sons: Michael (Martina) Banyai, in the USAF, stationed at Kaiserslautern, Germany, and children, Chris and Ryan; Lyle (Cassy) Banyai, Fargo, ND; and Justin (Missy) Banyai, Moorhead; stepdaughters: Tracey and Trina; Brothers: Darrel Muehler, and Herman (Connie) Muehler, Both Vesta, MN; sisters Doris (Arlo) Huelsman, Foxhome, MN, Alice (Stanley) Ellsworth, Breckenridge, MN, Betty (Ronald) Bohn, Wahpeton, ND, Elaine Mitchell, Fargo, ND, Shirley (Gregor) Wegscheid, Staple, MN, Helen (Marlen) Swenson, Foxhome, MN, Darlene (Dean) Carlson, Stanchfield, MN, Linda (Roger) Steffens, Norwood, MN, Patty (David) Zietlow, Great Bend, ND, and Sharon Solberg, Wahpeton; numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great- nephews. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Elise Muehler; 3 nieces; 2 nephews; and one great nephew.
