Graveside services for Mr. Richard Wade Weems, age 57, will be held at 10:30 am, Tuesday, July 26, 2016, at the Pilgrims Rest Cemetery, Shongaloo, LA with Rev. Todd Pickard officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Springhill, LA.
Mr. Weems was born on July 29, 1958 to Jerry Wade and Bonnie Jean Slack Weems in Springhill, LA and passed away on Monday, July 18, 2016 in Pensacola, FL. He was a resident of Florida since 1993 and worked as a jeweler. He was a member of the Catholic faith and was a graduate of the Springhill High School, class of 1976.
He is survived by his mother, Bonnie Jean Riley and husband, Lawrence David Riley, Jr. of Panama City, FL; two daughters, Whitney Rae Weems and Erica Lee Weems, both of RI; two grandchildren; sister, Alisa Karen Kelley of Panama City, FL; half-brother, Marty Slack Riley of Fort St. Joe, FL.
Mr. Weems was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Wade Weems.
