Blue Mound, April 3- Thomas O. Burrus, aged 54 years, for many years a blacksmith in Blue Mound, was found dead in his shop Friday afternoon by his son, Elmer. It is presumed that he died of heart failure.
Mr. Burrus was born in Herrick, Ill. but had spent the biggest part of his life in Blue Mound.
He leaves his wife and the following children: Leigh, Elmer, Willis, Morris and Mrs. Ruth Vender, all of Blue Mound; stepson, Gale Stivison of Moweaqua; brothers, Frank and Charles of Herrick, Dick of Owaneco, Joseph of Cowden; sister, Mrs. Ida Blankenship of Cowden.
Funeral services will be conducted in Herrick Monday.
