George W. Reesman, Jr., 79, of Dayton, passed away on July 24, 2016 at ACMH Hospital.
He was born on September 19, 1936 to George W., Sr. and Verda Ruth (McGregor) Reesman in Dayton, PA. George worked at Schenely Distillary for 28 years and was a Farmer. He was a member of the PA Farm Bureau.
George is survived by his wife Desira (Blose) Reesman, whom he married 8/14/1965; two sons - George (Sonja) Reesman of Dayton and Scott (Girlfriend - Kathy Smith) Reesman of Indiana; granddaughter - Samantha Reesman; two brothers - Jack (Gloria) Reesman and Gary (Shirley) Reesman, both of Dayton; three sisters - Lois (Ray) Carter of Port Saint Lucie, FL, Dorothy (Robert) Kanish of Sebastian, FL and Jane Morchesky of Sebastian, FL; In - Laws - Sandra Stephens of Ford City, Clair and Ronald Beer of Brewerton, NY, Harry and Beverly Blose of Ford City and Jack Walter of Ford City; and Numerous Nieces and Nephews.
He was preceded in death by his Parents; 2 brothers - Charles and M. Glenn Reesman and 2 sisters - Verda Rothwell and Grace Murray.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 27, 2016, 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm at Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, 724 W. Main St. Rural Valley, PA.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2016, 11:00 am at the Funeral Home with Pastor Todd Marino, officiating.
Burial will take place in the Salem (Hills) United Church of Christ Cemetery.
