Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 27, 1988, at Forrest Cemetery for Mrs. Viola M. Gwin, 89, Star Rt 62, Guntersville, who died Friday, Nov. 25, 1988. The Rev. Roger Willmore will officiate. Collier-Butler Funeral Home is in charge.
Mrs. Gwin was a native of Talladega County and a resident of Etowah County most of her life. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church.
Mrs. Gwin was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Floyd G. Gwin and son, Mr. I.G. Gwin.
She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Eloise Cassidy, Guntersville; daughter-in-law, Mrs. Olgaleen T. Gwin, Gadsden; grandchildren, James G. Cassidy, New Market, ala.; Dale Cassidy, Guntersville; Teresa Bearden, Union City, Tenn., and Susan Hill, Gadsden; six great-grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Hattie Lee Williams, Ragland; brother, Mr. Monroe Ledbetter, Tampa, and several nieces and nephews.
Honorary pallbearers will be Pete Howard, Claxton Lankford, N.B. Myrick, nurses and staff of Barfield Health Care Center in Guntersville and all other personal friends.
The body will remain at the funeral home until the hour of service.
The family will receive friends tonight from 6-9 o'clock.
