Aged Reclose Found Dead In Home by County Coroner.
Noah Baney, an aged man, who lived alone in a small dwelling on Bennage Heights was discovered dead at his home Friday afternoon about 4 o’clock by Dr. W. J. Shoemaker, coroner of Clinton county, who had gone to the house to investigate after neighbors told him that they had not seen Mr. Baney that day. Dr. Shoemaker found the lifeless form in a kneeling position in front of the kitchen stove.
Death, which apparently had taken place four hours before, was due to heart trouble and Dr. Shoemaker decided that an inquest would not be necessary.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Lauer mortuary with Rev. J. Merrill Williams officiating. Burial was made in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
