HAZLETT -- Mildred, 88, of Martindale, Portage R.D. 2, went to be with her Precious Lord on Aug. 25, 1994.
Born May 6, 1906, in Blue Knob, daughter of Charles and Melinda Helsel. Preceded in death by parents; husband, David Hazlett; sons, George and Don; daughters, Ethel and Velma; one granddaughter; six brothers; and five sisters. Last surviving member of her immediate family.
Survived by these children: Dorothy, wife of Ralph Zamen, Martindale; the Rev. William E. Hazlett, married to the former Vernice Turnquist, Beaver, Pa.; Clair Hazlett, Altoona; Richard, married to former Leona Fosnaught, Tarentum, Pa.; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and beloved daughter-in-law, Janet (Ritchey) Hazlett, Portage.
Former owner/operator of Hazlett's Grocery Store, Martindale.
Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Mark A. Serenko Funeral Home, Portage.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Martindale C.M.A. Church, Pastor Charles Kephart, officiant.
Interment, Mount Moriah Cemetery, Blue Knob.
