Mrs. Annie Laurie Crocheron, a lifelong Gadsden resident, died at 7:15 this morning at her home, 431 Turrentine Avenue, after a long illness.

Mrs. Crocheron was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Gadsden for 45 years.

She is survived by her husband, J.M. Crocheron; two foster daughters, Mrs. Sue Simpson Freeman of Asheville, N.C., and Mrs. Freida Simpson Kennedy of Champaign, Ill.; four sisters, Mrs. W.S. Griffin of Attalla, Mrs. T.S. Griffin of Gadsden, Mrs. T.F. Adams of Birmingham and Mrs. C.C. Barfield of Atlanta; and three grandchildren.

Services will be held Tuesday at 4 p.m. at Collier-Butler Chapel with the Rev. Ivan H. Trusler officiating. Burial will be in Forrest cemetery.
