Mrs. Perry was born on January 16, 1930, to Maylan Perrigan and Bessie Irene Buckner Perrigan. In December 1945, she married Thomas Allen “Pete” Perry in Batesville, MS. She worked for 34 years at Shelby Die Casting, and in her spare time she enjoyed working with her flowers and gardening, and sewing. She loved to sew dresses for her granddaughters. She was a great mother to her daughter, and she loved her grandchildren and spending time with them.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Irene Pearson; step-father, James Pearson; husband, Thomas Allen “Pete” Perry; grandson, Allen Seigler; and beloved grandparents, Henry and Mattie Buckner.
Mrs. Perry is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Jean Seigler (Terry) of Hawthorn, FL; sisters, Ozema Russell of Gunnison and Mary Marie Creel of Greenville; brother, Carol Pearson (Jean) of Gunnison; two granddaughters, Sarah Braten (Shane) of WY and Crystal Fortune (Lee) of MT; and six great-grandchildren.
