Mary, T. beloved wife of the late Paul E. Brown. Passed away November 30, 2013 in her home surrounded by her daughters at the age of 83 years after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Cherished mother to Stephanie T. Fredrich (Michael), Melinda T. Smith-Ball (Curtis), Melissa W. Lemaire, and preceded in death by son Scott E. Rightsell. Dear sister to Theodore G. Taylor (Judy), Phyllis T. Jacob, Nancy T. Robinson (Bill), Eunice (Bambi) T. MacRae (Hugh) and preceded in death by brother James R. Taylor and sister Sue Ellen T. Harrison. Devoted grandmother to Lindsay T. Bohn (Jeremy), Adam M. Fredrich (Jessica), Tijae B. Smith, Branden E. Smith (Abby), Dakota J. Smith, and Katherine W. Weatherton (Joseph). Great Grandmother to Cloey R. Smith, Kyfer J. Smith, Logan Weatherton, and Matthew Weatherton, nieces and nephews Doctor Donald J. Jacob (Sandy), Doctor Kathleen G. Maurer (Doctor Dan), William E. Robinson (Rhonda), Theodore T. Robinson, Lisa M. Slugg (Michael), J. Christian Robinson, and Marguerite B. MacRae, Dawn M. Dunbar, Boyd T. Taylor, J. Mark Taylor, Michelle Kontometrus (Dean), and R. Mark Harrison. Preceded in death by her parents James Mark and Isabel Taylor and first husband Don E. Rightsell and second husband Paul E. Brown. She was a graduate and Homecoming Queen of London High School and Bliss Business College in Columbus, Ohio. Member and past Regent of London Chapter Daughters of American Revolution, London Chapter No. 386 Order of the Eastern Star. Mary was an active member of the Ohio to Erie Trail where she served on the Board of Trustees. She was also an avid cyclist riding for the benefit of Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund for the past decade plus with her final ride at 82 years of age. Mary's love of football was an integral part of her life. Her ties to football were not limited to the Cincinnati Bengals but also included Miami University at Oxford, Ohio State University, and Massillon High School. She was a member of the Methodist Church in Newtown. Her life was lived with an enduring faith in God and Jesus Christ, compassion and works for those less fortunate, walking in the path of the eternal verities of life: love, compassion, truth, honor, and justice. The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to Dr. Jeffrey L. Craig, Dr. Robert Cody, Dr. Robert Summe, and the loving caregivers from VITAS Hospice. Celebration of Life will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 7, 2013 at the Norman Chapel at Spring Grove Cemetery, 4521 Spring Grove Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio, 45232.
