Obituary, Evening Star (Washington, DC), 7 Aug 1912:

DR. C. M. N. LATIMER DEAD.
For More Than Thirty Years He Practiced Dentistry Here.

Dr. Charles M. N. Latimer, for more than thirty years a practicing dentist of this city, died early this morning at his home, 1322 L Street northwest. Dr. Latimer was fifty-five years old. He had been ill for about three weeks.

Funeral arrangements have not been completed. It is probable, however, that services will be conducted at St. Patrick's church Friday morning. Interment will be in Mount Olivet cemetery.

Dr. Latimer was born in this city and lived here all his life. He was a graduate of the Baltimore Dental College and had been practicing since he was twenty-two years old. About twenty-seven years ago he married to Miss Stella E. Waters of this city, who survives him. He is also survived by two sons, Edwin Walter and Robert E. Latimer, and a daughter, Miss Stella E. Latimer.

For many years Dr. Latimer had been a member of the District Dental Association. He was a great lover of dogs and horses and was a pigeon fancier.
