Audrey Joyce Ford - Hurley 89 of Sandwich, IL. passed away on July 20, 2016 at Presence Mercy Center in Aurora, IL. She was born on August 9, 1926 in Sandwich IL. to Lawrence and Mary (Wallis)Ford Sr. She was raised in Sandwich and Aurora, IL and lived in Florida for 25 years. She graduated from East Aurora High School in the Class of 1945. She married James R. Hurley on April 11, 1946 in Chicago IL. She studied at the Art Institute in Chicago from 1945-1946, employed by Barber Green, Burlington RR in Chicago and Aurora IL, Western Electric from 1970-1972, Mountain Bell from 1972-1974, Chesapeake and Potomac Bell from 1974-1980 and Southern Bell from 1980-1990 and retired from Southern Bell as a drafting clerk. She was involved with her church in Florida at the River bend Community Church in Ormona FL, and locally attended Fox River Lutheran Church in Sheridan, IL. Her passion was artwork, oil paintings, and creativities from interior decorating, floral arrangements, and Tole painting, but her greatest blessings were her children. She is survived by her children; Sun (Dan) Benua of Portland OR., James F Hurley of New Smyrna Beach FL., 2 grandsons, Brandon and Nicholas Hurley of New Smyrna Beach FL. her brother Robert Ford of Somonauk, IL, her sisters; Mary Ann Jones of Gaithersburg MD. and Janet Hallstrom of Plano, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband James Hurley, her parents, her daughter Susan Hurley Weller, and a brother Lawrence (Russ) Ford Jr.
