Pat (Bommerscheim) Kluempers passed away peacefully on Monday July 18, 2016. She was born January 12, 1936 in Pinckneyville Illinois to William and Irene (Hubler) Bommerscheim.
She was the youngest of three sisters (Joan Miller, Ruth Bommerscheim) and had three siblings from William’s first marriage (Mildred Ogilvie, Lorraine Patten, Richard (Dick) Bommersheim).
Pat grew up in Pinckneyville and graduated in 1953 from Pinckneyville High School.
Pat and Harry married July 9th, 1955 and recently celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary.
Pat was diagnosed with Parkinson’s four years ago.
Pat is survived by her husband, Harry J. Kluempers, three sons, two daughters-in-law and four grandchildren: Kurt and Terry Kluempers of Fishers Indiana, Paul Kluempers and Sarah Hanssen of Carmel, Indiana, and John Kluempers of Bonn Germany.
The grandchildren are Lindsey Kluempers of Dallas TX, Kristen Kluempers of Denver CO, Eric Kluempers of Chicago IL and Jan Loehken of Bonn Germany. Pat is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Pat was preceded in death by all her siblings and parents.
A Memorial Mass will be held Friday July 22, 2016 at noon in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Carmel Indiana.
