Services for former Wewoka resident Denny Merle Cleveland are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at the Cleveland Family Cemetery under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home. Cleveland, 59, died Thursday in Shawnee. He was born Dec. 22, 1946 in Clinton to Milford Lee and Marie (Long) Cleveland. He graduated from Webster High School in Tulsa and worked for Elitch at Six Flags in the maintenance area. Before returning to Oklahoma, he resided in Denver, Colo.
Survivors include his parents of Wewoka; three sons, Randy Cleveland, Sapulpa, Tracie Cleveland, Tishomingo, and Ko-No Cleveland of New York City; two daughters, Kiani Cleveland, and Hokti Cleveland, both of California; one sister, Gloria Perez of Shawnee; and two brothers, Milford Cleveland, Denver, Colo., and Nick Cleveland of New York City. Cleveland is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives, and friends.
