MRS. DOROTHY POPHAM.

A fall down a basement steps at her home resulted in the death of Mrs. Dorothy Popham, 28, Fair Court, Florence, early last night in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Covington, Mrs. Tressa Riffe, Kenton County Coroner, reported.

Mrs. Riffe said that Mrs. Popham was found crumpled on the floor of the basement by her five-year-old daughter.

She was taken to St. Elizabeth Hospital late yesterday morning, where she was found to be suffering froma skull fracture. Her death followed a little more than six hours later. She was taken to the hospital in an ambulance of the Stith funeral home, Florence.

Raquiem Mass will be sung at St. Paul Church, Florence, at 9 a.m. Thursday for Mrs. Dorothy Popham, 28-year-old expectant mother, who fell at her home, Fair Court, Florence, Monday and suffered a fatal skull fracture. Friends may call after 3 p.m. today at the Stith funeral home, Erlanger.

Mrs. Tressa Riffe, Kenton County Coroner, returned a verdict of accidental death.

Mrs. Popham was taken to St. Elizabeth Hospital shortly after noon Monday after she was found by one of her daughters at the base of the basement steps.

She leaves her husband, Clinton; two daughters, Diana and Janice Popham; her father, Oscar Hunter; a stepmother, Mrs. Mildred Hunter; two stepsisters, Jo Ann Hunter and Bernice Hunter, and a stepbrother, James Hunter.
