(Photo) Frank "Frankie" M. Marker, a long-time Prairie resident and World War II veteran, passed away Oct. 8, 2015.
A burial ceremony begins at 11:30 a.m. July 30, 2016, at the Prairie Cemetery with a celebration of his life and pot luck gathering scheduled to follow at the Prairie Community Hall.

Frank was born Sept. 16, 1924.

He is survived by his daughter, Carla M. Ramirez; three grandchildren, Morgan Caparaz, Leticia Reyes and Julian Caparaz; six great grand children, Calvin, Mia, Chase, Dillon Caparaz Adelia, Lukas Reyes; and four step children, Jeff, Todd, Terry and Melissa Edwards.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John F. Marker; his sisters Edna Ziemann and Hazel Gillespie; his daughter, Linda Marker; and a granddaughter, Amelia Caparaz.
