Myrtle Marie Riggleman, 82, of Romney, WV passed away on Monday, July 18, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family while under the care of Hospice.
Born on June 8, 1934 in Grant County, WV, she was the daughter of the late Susan E. Riggleman and Jacob “Press” Simmons.
Myrtle worked as a garment inspector for Hampshire Manufacturing and had cooked at various restaurants where she was known for her cooking. She was a charter member of the Ship Program. She was a loving mother.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy L. Ketterman and two sons, David & Jimmy.
Funeral services will be held on Friday July 22, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. in McKee Funeral Home Chapel, 115 E. Birch Lane Romney with Pastor Robert Combs officiating. Interment will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery, Romney.
The family will receive friends on Thursday 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
All arrangements are being handled by McKee Funeral Home, Romney, WV.
