Mrs. Minnie Alice Knotts. 46, wife of Robert Knotts, residing at 2001 North C street, died at the Mercy hospital at 4:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon, of a complication of aliments, after an illness of about four weeks.

The daughter of William and Mary Bannon, she was born in Madison county April 15, 1890.

Mrs. Knotts enjoyed a wide acquaintance.

Surviving besides the husband are eight children, Noah Goens, Everett Goens, Wayne Goens, Mrs. Opal Parrish, Ernest Brooks, Bessie Knotts, Francis Knotts and Lawrence Albert Knotts; father, William Bannon, of Rigdon; two sisters, Mrs. Hattie Richardson of Rigdon, and Mrs. Lena Sizelove, north of the city, and four brothers, John, Dewey and Omer Bannon, all living north of the city, and Earl Bannon. of Mississippi.

Funeral on Wednesday.

The body was removed to the Copher and Feeler Funeral Home. It will be taken to the family home this evening. Funeral service will be conducted at the Church of God Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the pastor, Rev. Mary Shephard, in charge. Burial will be in the city cemetery.
