Frances "Fran" Gale Wine passed away peacefully July 18, 2016 at her home in Jacksonville, Ore.

She was born January 30,1927 in Plano, Missouri to parents, Irl and Gladys(Raines)Hayes. Her sisters, all deceased, were Mary Peterson, Phyllis Diltz, Helen Kirk, and Doloris McDonald.

She was married in 1947 to Hugh Jacob Rogers in Sonora, Calif. They moved to Medford in 1960, where they raised four sons. Hugh passed away in 1978.

In 1979, she married a longtime friend and widow, John Joseph "Bud" Grangnelli. Bud passed away in 1982.

In 1987, Fran married Reverend Leo Wine. Together they worked tirelessly for their church, Faith Tabernacle, in Ashland. Following his retirement, they served as Christian missionaries to both Africa and the Philippines. Reverend Wine passed away in 2003.

Fran had a wonderful zest for life. She loved people and was a true friend to everyone she knew. She especially loved her four sons and the extended Wine family. She enjoyed gardening and entertaining, but her favorite moments were those spent with family and friends. She was active at the City on a Hill Church in Phoenix, Ore., pastored by her stepson, Reverend Curt Wine.

Fran is survived by her four sons, John Rogers, Jim Rogers, Mark Rogers, and Jeff Rogers; her six grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. She is also survived by her stepson, Curt Wine; her stepdaughters Bonita Wine and Cheri Buckmiller; 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. And her two half brothers, Gordon and Stanley Hayes, both of Missouri.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday July 22, 2016 at Perl Funeral Home, 2100 Siskiyou Blvd. Medford, Ore. Visitation is from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
