Lyman Barringer Dies of Croup
Monday morning of this week Mr. and Mrs. Barringer of this city lost their little three-year-old son, Lyman, with croup. During the evening previous the doctor had been called and the little fellow seemed to be improving. They had been up with him the greater part of the night, the last time being about four o'clock and he seemed to be getting along nicely, and resting. At about that time they went to bed again, taking the little fellow in between them, but when they awakened later they found the little fellow apparently asleep on his mother's arm, but he had passed away while they slept, and without apparent struggle.
The funeral services were under the care of Rev. Hawkins of the Presbyterian church and burial was made in Hillside cemetery Wednesday afternoon of this week.
Mr. and Mrs. Barringer have the sincere sympathy of the entire community in their sadness.

Buried here per his death certificate. Son of Lester Barringer & Elva M. Allen.
