Dimitrios A Pappas, died on July 17, 2016, at his home surrounded by his family. He was 71.
Born in Kontakeika Samos, Greece, he came to the United States in 1970 and eventually settled down in New Jersey, where he was a long time resident of Edison Township.
Dimitrios had a great love for his family and friends and loved to watch soccer and to garden. He was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Piscataway.
He is preceded in death by his father Andreas, mother Kalliopi, and brother George. He is survived by his wife, Irini, his son, Andreas and his wife Kristen, his two granddaughters, Khloe and Zoey, and his brother Angelo and his wife Paula
Services are Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at 11:30AM, at St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Piscataway. The burial will follow at Van Liew Cemetery, North Brunswick, N.J. Arrangements are entrusted to Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick.
