Ethel Edith Folk was born on Monday, September 11, 1916 to Theodoe and Anna Ruzek Folk in Mullen, Hooker County, Nebraska. Ethel Folk married Glade Lavern Patterson on May 28, 1939 at the United Methodist Church in Aztec, New Mexico. Ethel Folk Patterson's parents lived near Mullen, Nebraska at the time Ethel and Glade were married. Ethel and Glade have three children: Mildred Kay born Auguat 31, 1941, Dennis Lee born December 27, 1946, Robert Edward born July 10, 1954. Ethel had a stroke and had to live in a home where she could get the help she needed. Ethel died November 6, 1998 at Redding, California. Ethel was cremated and her ashes are at the Mount Shasta Cemeter north of Redding, California. This note was compiled by Bessie Lou Patterson McDowell from information given by Vera Nadine Patterson Lawson of Aztec, New Mexico.
