Pauline was born July 24, 1927 in Browder, Muhlenburg County, Kentucky to Joel and Ethel (Lear) Dukes. She attended school in Kirkmansville, Kentucky. On September 14, 1947, she and John T. Dodd were married in Turlock, California. They had lived in West Point, California before moving to Milano in 1950. Pauline was a care provider with Girling Home Health Care and a member of Sand Grove Church of Christ.

She passed away Sunday morning, July 17, 2016 in the Richards Memorial Hospital in Rockdale. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John T. Dodd on December 7, 2001; two sisters, Dorothy Barber and Virginia Knight and three brothers, E.J. Dukes, Billy Dukes and Tommy Dukes.

Surviving her are her son, four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, a sister-in-law of Rockdale; two nieces, special friends, and a number of nieces and nephews of Muhlenburg County, Kentucky.
