Margaret Ann Childs, of 350 Front St., Olean, passed away Wednesday (July 6, 2016) at Olean General Hospital following a brief illness.
Margaret was born Apr. 8, 1941, in Olean and was a daughter of the late Gilbert Monroe and Evelyn Margaret Hedberg Childs Sr. She graduated from Otto-Eldred High School in 1959. Margaret lived in Dover, Del., from 1961 to 1968, returning to Eldred, Pa., and then moved to Olean in October 2014.
Margaret enjoyed selling Tupperware. She loved spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren.
Margaret is survived by three children, Richard T. Hurrle of Allegany, Roger A. (Diane) Carillion of Long Island and Barb S. (Kip) Lewis of Salamanca; six grandchildren, Chelsea, Peter, Mark, Kyle, Miranda and Marlie; and a brother, Gilbert M. (Caren) Childs Jr. of Richburg.
In addition to her parents, Margaret was predeceased by a son, Michael Alan Hurrle, on Oct. 14, 1965.
