Sharon was born on February 20, 1942 in Peoria, OK to Forrest and Emma (Webb) Cousatte.
On March 29, 2004 Sharon Whatley married Ivan Boatwright in Fayetteville, AR.
Sharon is survived by her husband Ivan of 12 years, two sons; Tony Whatley and wife Patti Lou of Joplin, MO and Kevin Whatley and wife Jowen of Fort Smith, AR and daughter Rhonda (Whatley) Polvado of Flower Mound, TX. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild along with 3 sisters and 2 brothers.
She attended Faith Assembly of God Church in Sallisaw, OK with her husband Ivan for many years. She was the treasurer for the American Legion Auxiliary and worked delivering cars for Blue Ribbon Dodge. She also cooked for numerous families in the area. She was also known as "The Pie Lady".
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Sequoyah Memorial Hospice and staff. And a very special thank you to Sharon Randolph, RN.
Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, July 14, 2016 at Forever Memories Funeral Services of Sallisaw, OK.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, July 15, 2016 in the Faith Assembly of God Church with Pastor Monroe Lowrimore officiating. Burial will follow at Fort Gibson National Cemetery in Fort Gibson, OK. Casket Bearers will be; Tony Whatley, Kevin Whatley, Kory Whatley, Mike Wilson, Larry Boatwright and John Bennett.
