When younger Mary went by the name Mary Virginia Schwartz. When she sent for her birth certificate she found out she was born Evelyn Mary Schwartz and from then on used the name Mary Evelyn. She married 21 Aug 1929, Christian Co. IL Harvey Lee Douglas who died of TB 27 Jan 1935. She married Marion Estuace Thomas 21 Oct 1935 in Springfield, Sangamon Co. IL. Mary was the daughter of Charles Carl and Myrtle Lee (Williams) Schwartz.
