Weldon, 85, Bluffton, died at 11:40 a.m., at Mennonite Memorial Home.

He was the son of Pearl and Burdella (Amstutz) Geiger. On Feb 24, 1953, he married Marcine Welty, who preceded him in death.

Surviving are two sons: Keith (Terry), Ottoville, and Rodney Lee (Linda), Lima; a daughter, Teresa (Jonathan) Schutz, Columbus Grove; a brother, Myron (Lou), Dunkirk; and five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Deceased are a brother, Kenneth; and a sister, Wilma Wilch.

A lifelong farmer, he retired from the Lima Ford Engine Plant after 25 years of service. He was a member of Ebenezer Mennonite Church, Bluffton. He served in the U.S. Army from 1953 - 1961, served in the Korean War in 1953, was a member of the American Legion and the Swiss Historical Society. He thoroughly enjoyed wintering in Florida, traveling and spending time with his grandchildren.

Services will be at Ebenezer Mennonite Church, Bluffton, with Revs. Jim King, Dick Potter, Charles Warren and Kathy Brauen, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery where military rites will be held.
