Benjamin Levi Disney was born February 22, 1854, in Indiana, and died at his home in Hardy, March 13, 1921, age 67 years, 19 days. In early life he moved with his parents to Ohio, Illinois, Iowa, and later to Kansas. He was the youngest of a family of nine children. He was united in marriage to Mary Hill, on August 31, 1878, at Minneapolis, Kansas, and to this union fifteen children were born, ten having gone before and five remain. He came to Hardy February 28, 1893, and has made his home here since that time. Deceased has not been well for over a year and has been quite ill for the past few months until he passed peacefully away Sunday.
