He was predeceased by : his parents, Franklin Brown and Mary Plummer Brown; his former wife Geneva Brown; his wife Merle Brown; and his sons-in-law, Terry Smith and Chris Payne.
He is survived by : his daughters, Sandra (Larry Carlan) and Jeanette Smith (Pamela Payne); his step-sons, Nathan Witcher of Danielsville and Rondale Witcher of Texas; his grandchildren, Kevin Herron, Courtney (Lee McFarlin), Marty Smith, Kristen (T. J. Evans), Marie Payne (Nathan) and Kayla Payne; and his sister Mamie Lou Vickery of Griffin, Georgia.. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 11th 2020 from 12:00 PM to 1:40 PM at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home (90 S Pond St, Toccoa, GA 30577).
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 11th 2020 at 2:00 PM at the Carnes Creek Baptist Church (1655 Carnes Creek Rd, Toccoa, GA 30577).
