CARLBERG, Duane A. ' Duane A. Carlberg, 50, of Storrs, husband of Barbara (Chapluk) Carlberg, died Sunday (July 12, 1998) at the Windham Community Memorial Hospital.
He was born February 10, 1948 in Los Angeles, CA, son of Flora (Seals) Carlberg of Buena Park, CA and the late Charles Carlberg.
He has lived in Storrs for the past four years.
He was a graduate of California State University at Fullerton and received his Masters Degree from the University of Southern California.
He was Chief Executive Officer of Inter-Community Medical Center in Covina, CA for 15 years and
Chief Executive Officer at Windham Hospital for the past four years.
He was a member of numerous professional organizations including the board of directors of the Connecticut Hospital Association.
He was a devoted husband and father who was also known for his love of gardening, music and USC Trojan Football.
In addition to his wife and mother he is survived by his loving children,
his mother-in-law,
his grandmother, Carrie Fuselier;
and a brother,
and a sister,
. Funeral Mass will be Friday, 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, 99 Jackson St., Wil-limantic with assembly at church.
Burial will follow in the Storrs Cemetery.
