NEWMAN BETTY E. NEWMAN, age 73, of Lakeline, passed away on October 15 with her family surrounding her. She was born in Marion, MA, on September 1, 1941, the daughter of the late Harriet (Savery) Hanscom and Thomas Morrison. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend to many, who will be greatly missed by all. Betty is survived by her loving husband, of 53 years, Wayne Newman, her children Patricia Dawn (David) Metruk, Beth Ann (Adam) Soha, Tracy Lee Salerno (Niko Momic), and Thomas Wayne (Jenna) Newman, along with her sisters Joan Florindo, Nancy (Robert) Pelletier, and Christine Donahue. She was preceded in death by her step father Maynard Hanscom. A Memorial Celebration will be held on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at 7 PM at Willoughby Hills UMC 34201 Eddy Rd, WILLOUGHBY HILLS. MONREAL FUNERAL HOME IS HANDLING ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE FAMILY. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any donation, in Betty's honor, be made to the American Cancer Society 10501 Euclid Ave Cleveland, OH 44106.
