THE GETTYSBURG TIMES, 19 October 1951 Mrs. Laura Virginia Currens, 83, widow of James S. Currens, died this morning at 3:30 at her home, Fairfield R1. She was a native and lifelong resident of Hamiltonban Township a daughter of the late John and Catherine Wetzel Kint. Surviving are six children; Mrs. Carrie Kepner, Fairfield RD; Mrs. Robert Watson, Waynesboro; Mrs. John W Sites and Mrs. Goldie Dudash, Fairfield RD; Mrs. Harry Hartzell, Hagerstown and Allen, Fairfield R1; 22 Grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 1 Great-great-grandchild, one sister Mrs. Mary Mackley, Rockford, Ill. Funeral services Sunday at 2:00 pm at the Allison funeral home Fairfield, conducted by the Rev. Amos Funk, Chambersburg. Interment in the Fairfield Union Cemetery.
