She was united in marriage to William Shipp in the early fifties, and in a short time after came with her husband to Missouri, and settled on a farm six miles southeast of Licking, where she died, having been preceded by her husband to that great unknown world 19 years. To this union was born three sons and four daughters, two of which preceded her to that better land. Grandma Shipp (as she was familiarly called) professed faith in Christ 36 years ago, and has lived a devoted Christian to the end.
