Survivors were His wife, Mrs. Mattie Pearl Betty; two sons, William Walker Betty and L.D. Betty, both of Dickson; three daughters, Mrs. Betty Elchert of Madison, Mrs. Ruby Lampley and Mrs. Ann McClellan, both of Dickson; two brothers, Ed Betty and Euel Betty of Dickson; three sisters, Mrs. Bertie Mae Donegan of Royal Oak, Mich., Mrs. Tennessee Work and Mrs. Jane Ingram both of Dickson; eight Grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Mr. Betty was a retired Farmer; he was the son of Jessie Betty and Florence Donegan.
Service were held Thursday, April 3, 1986 in Dickson Funeral Home with Henry Ragan officiating. Burial was at Fielder Cemetery.
